PRAYER AND PRAISE

Prayer request policy: If you want the prayer request to be private or just between me and you, please say so in the email. I will pray for those requests. If you don’t mind others praying for the request, then just send the request with no restrictions and I will put it in the devotional for other to pray. We don’t include last names in any of our prayer requests. Thank you.

Please pray for the persons whose last name begins with the letter “K” on your prayer list, which includes your address book, church directory and email list.

Please remember to pray for the Biblical churches and pastors in the STATES OF NEW YORK and NEVADA. (REMEMBER THAT IF YOU KNOW BIBLICAL PASTORS IN THESE STATES TO LET US KNOW THEIR NAMES AND CHURCHES AND WE WILL PRAY FOR THEM).

Lillan Valdes Steve Stryczek writes:  Prayer warriors please we need to pray for Elliott. Elliott is in the hospital. This is from his dad. Please pray for our son Elliott. He has a nasty case of croup. was at 102° fever, has come down to 100.8° with the baby Tylenol. Currently at children’s ER. He has been struggling with this all weekend till now. There is slight chance of pneumonia. Doctors will be further looking into this. Please pray for Vanessa and I as well as we are heartbroken watching him go through this. We need God’s mercy and grace to help us through this physically, mentally and spiritually.

John Huffman writes: Please keep Emily in your prayer. Diagnostics couldn’t rule out tumor due to the continued presence of abnormalities at the surgical sight. That being said the most likely reason is healing tissue and not cancer. We will talk to Oncology tomorrow for more information. Thank you

Paul J. Decker writes:  We have come to the end of the semester, and soon my tenure as the Acting Campus Director will come to an end. I have been grateful that Morgan Willams has been by my side throughout the semester. She often picks up on details that I miss. We have also had a leadership team that has gelled  and taken responsibility for activities. We have had several new faces this semester and It has been good to see how the students themselves make sure to get new faces involved.

Fall Retreat was a delight. There were a lot of down-to-earth conversations about how to turn our beliefs into action. Our speaker used the examples from Daniel to show we can do this on the secular environment of our campuses. We were also delighted to do two baptisms in the camp pool.

Finals are now taking place and students are preparing for what they will do during break.

Be praying that our students will get good rest and be ready to go in January when we start all over again!

Please invite friends to visit our website: www.smallchurchministries.org or visit our Facebook page at Small Church Ministries with a Bible logo. If they would like to receive the devotions via email – please have them send their address to me with “devotional” in the message box. Also, if you don’t receive the devotions because you have visited our website or some other source please sign up. The devotions normally go out each covering a chapter of the Bible each day. In three and a half years the entire Bible is covered. Thank you.
