PRAYER AND PRAISE
Prayer request policy: If you want the prayer request to be private or just between me and you, please say so in the email. I will pray for those requests. If you don’t mind others praying for the request, then just send the request with no restrictions and I will put it in the devotional for other to pray. We don’t include last names in any of our prayer requests. Thank you.
Please pray for the persons whose last name begins with the letter “N” on your prayer list, which includes your address book, church directory and email list.
Please remember to pray for the Biblical churches and pastors in the STATES OF VERMONT and SOUTH DAKOTA. (REMEMBER THAT IF YOU KNOW BIBLICAL PASTORS IN THESE STATES TO LET US KNOW THEIR NAMES AND CHURCHES AND WE WILL PRAY FOR THEM).
Nitin George writes: Today for a second time now I went up to Taneytown to a nursing home with a beautiful bunch of friends and their million kids to sing worship songs and to pray, listen to and just share the love about Jesus with. I can’t begin tell you how wonderful it felt Having the honor to have this time with the residents. It makes you realize how precious life and time spent really is. Listening to their stories about love, loss and regret really puts things in perspective for oneself! Listening to the things they wish they wouldve done, things they wish they would have said to somebody or forgiveness they wished they gave before it was too late really makes you think twice about the future. Lifes to short to hold onto anger, grudges or any of that nonsense. Love unconditionally as Jesus loves us in our brokeness. I wouldn’t change this day for the world. Thank you Jesus for letting me be in the position to be able to have an opportunity to maybe make a difference in somebody’s life

Prayer Chain @ Elim EFC: I’m asking prayer tonight for my Uncle Thomas who is currently at the ER going through some painful diagnostic testing for his cancer. My 85 year old grandmother is at the hospital with him now and my parents are on the way to stay with her and help get things sorted for next steps. What we do know is my uncle will be transferring to Harbor View tonight and he is in pain, please be praying for him. My parents are battling colds and are asking for strength to help tend to my grandma and strength to understand how to help my uncle. UP DATE: Thank you for all of your prayer: Thomas was transferred to Seattle – Mountlake UW hospital the morning of 1/12. Further testing has ben done and there are two types of cancer his body has. He currently has at least one tumor on his neck that has cute off his mobility to his arm. He will be going through radiation treatment starting tomorrow 1/14 and having a liver biopsy done that day as well. Doctors are unsure how his outcome will be. W are asking for continued prayer for these things: – Tom’s body would tolerate and respond well to treatment, and his emotions and anxiety will be calmed by the Lord. That his care team shows compassion and tenderness to him. – John , Mary and Mary senior continue to recover from their severe colds. With as much paperwork and organization of Tom’s care it has been taxing on their recovery process. ( From: Rebecca Passic)

Prayer Chain @ Elim EFC David Penny Lingenfelter writes: Hey, Ellie had the first of her scans yesterday. Her MRI and a CT. The results came back saying that there are no new lesions or growth of the current tumors. The PET scan is next week on the 13th. We have an appointment on the 18th to get the results of that scan. The PET scan is what shows if there is any activity left in the tumors. That is the scan that really matters. I’m terrified of getting my hopes up all I can do is ask for everyone to keep praying. I love you guys
